Will Buckinghamshire count it as a genuine missed collection?

A useful weight check: Buckinghamshire's policy says a wheeled bin should be easy to move with one hand. This is guidance, not a promise that every movable bin will be accepted.
How to send the report
- Open the official page after 6pm. Use the green button above so you start on the current council page rather than an old saved form link.
- Check the roads list. Stop if the council already shows your road as incomplete or delayed.
- Select Report now. The council's reporting service opens separately and requires JavaScript.
- Find the collection address. Enter the requested address details and select the affected property.
- Choose the missed container. Check that the scheduled collection and bin type shown are correct.
- Submit once and save the confirmation. Keep any reference number or screenshot in case the crew does not return.
After the report: leave the bin where the crew can reach it
If the report is accepted as a genuine miss and was made within 24 hours, Buckinghamshire aims to return within 2 working days. Leave the container presented and do not submit the same missed collection again.
If the crew still does not return
Keep the original reference and use Buckinghamshire's separate repeated-missed-collection route. Record the scheduled date, the reporting date and the date the return target expired. That evidence is also useful if you later make a formal complaint.

A rejected bin needs a different fix
- Contamination: remove the items that do not belong in that container. The usual next free collection is the next scheduled round, although a separate chargeable emptying service may be available.
- Excess waste around communal bins: loose rubbish, recycling and bulky objects can block access. The managing agent or residents must clear the area.
- Locked communal or assisted access: make sure the crew has the necessary key, code or safe access before the next round.
- Repeated service failure: this is different from a rejected container. Keep the report history and use the council's repeated-miss process.
